After having many appointments at LSC I become better than before. As Mr. Omar gave me homework, in which I should write about any subject I choose. Then, I must include my paragraph the rules I had studied in LSC. When he saw my paragraph, he said that I did well and it was awesome. Also, he advised me to keep writing. Honestly, I felt that from the beginning since I am good at grammar and that was as a revision for me.
Lately, I had few challenges with the word get. I know its meaning as to obtain only. Therefore, I took special appointment in order to learn more about it and other meanings of it. I am not saying I did not look for it in the dictionary, but I did not get the meanings obviously. Now, to use it I can say about my students in the class we are not friends yet but we get on together.
The last thing I have recently achieved is finishing of reading four books. Now I am finishing extra books for the presentation. I use to read level five and six. I think level four was not as difficult as I expected.

Finally, I acquire the helpful program ever. It is English Vocabulary in use. My sister told me about it when I was arguing papers. Then, she offered me a CD in which I could install the program. I started immediately. There are enormous practices and many exercises about both vocabulary and grammar. To be honest, I found them difficult however, I did well and I learnt more new vocabulary and new grammatical rules.
Also, I have just finished reading the fourth book ‘but was it murder?’ I ended it over night, as I had been more excited to recognize the end and the murderer.
As well, I visited my delicious site, I got few links, and I picked www.tyrashow.com. It teaches me a lot. I opened it and I had many questionnaires about various subjects. From these, I had learnt how to make questions and how to write essays of any topic.
Additionally, I still take appointment at Learning Support Centre for high-level grammar. Now, I am more satisfied with myself to achieve what I wanted to. I give myself 8.5 of 10.

What a wonderful site. It is VOA and that is voice of America. I really enjoyed it. I opened it and have a look at it. I found a lot of interesting things such as news, learning English and of course entertainment. I had news of Obama and what going on there at white house. As well, I down loaded a game and I discovered that it had a short conversation in each level. I realized that these questions could be used at daily talk. Therefore, I memorized some of them. I really liked that game with its conversations. It had taught me a lot also; it had given me the opportunity to improve my speaking as I noticed.
Also, I had good time with the news at FM. There was a conversation about parental ship. That helps me in my writing about myself, my family and especially about my parental ship in compare and contrast essay.
Recently,, I had had read Nick Dawson’s book. It is a storybook and tells about both grammar and vocabulary. As I had exam in phonology, I read the dictionary a lot. As a result, I got an enormous vocabulary.
Now, I feel that I am better than before and my writing becomes nice and I am satisfied about myself.

On Wednesday Oct 14, 2009, I had important appointment with Ms. Melanie. At the beginning, I was shy to express my problem at the first. Then she encouraged me to talk. I told her about my grammar weaknesses especially in writing. Although she wanted to help me but she thought advices would be enough and she ensured that the LSC would help me. I got few excellent advices with hint of disappointment as I expected direct assistance from her. Afterwards, she took me by my hand and went to LSC and she introduced me to Mr. Omar. However, she was shocked to know that I had been there many times before. She surprisingly asked me why I did not tell her. Anyway, I started grammar with Mr.
On Saturday Oct 17, 2009, I read strong medicine, four chapters over night. I wrote the new words and looked for the grammar rules. In addition, I looked for the new words in the sentences and used them in mines. As well, I looked for the meaning of them at www.dictionary.com
On Sunday Oct 18, 2009, I opened crossword challenge and tried to answer the questions. To be honest, I liked it so much so did my sisters and I found it funny. In facts, it was such a supportive program.
On Monday Oct 19, 2009, I used the newspapers, which you asked us to bring for reading. I had read a nice topic about Obama’s Nobel Prize for peace “peace and prize”. I thought that he deserved the prize and I congratulated him. Actually, we need peace these days.
Now, I am glad to have enormous vocabularies from the newspaper and the story, besides good lesson of grammar.

Actually, I started to follow my LLP in week 5. On Sunday, October 04, 2009, I had an appointment in LSC in speaking and I started immediately. I was nervous at the beginning but after while I was normal. Mr. Omar asked me few questions about my living city, my future job and my favorite hobby. Honestly, I was not fluent at the beginning as I had not expected what he would ask me about. However, I had little fun.
On Wednesday 07, 2009, I had another appointment in writing. Mrs. Julie was my teacher and she taught me the best ways to write essays after showing her my papers. She said that we have to put hook, our opinion in the conclusion but we should not use pronouns related to us for example, I am going to, because it is not a reflective writing. I felt fine to have these comments.
On Thursday 08, 2009 I finished reading tears of the giraffe and I used the dictionary to explore the meaning of the words in the story.
At the weekend, I read ENGLISH SKILLS especially about the writer for 15 minutes. I summarize it orally. I also read a book about HOW DO WE REMEMBER EVENTS? It was interesting to know that we remember events when we were witnesses and we never forget some events like accidents or crime. I have noticed that my reading was good and I understood the whole meaning from the first time! That was amazing because I wasn’t like that before. Also I felt strong passion of reading covered me.
Now I am satisfied to have new experiences and new knowledge about writing, speaking even in reading. I also become confident. I learnt how to avoid being shy by speaking even when there are mistakes in what I say.
